Removal of the uterine lining (endometrium) which is the part of a woman’s body responsible for heavy bleeding. Your uterus is left intact as their are no incisions required.

Four easy steps make up the Novasure Endometrial Ablation procedure.

1

FIRST STEP

The doctor will open your cervix slightly, they then insert a slim wand that extends a triangular shaped device that is netted into your uterus.

2

SECOND STEP

As the netting expands it automatically fits to the size and shape of your uterus.

3

THIRD STEP

Radiofrequency energy is precisely measured and then delivered via the netting for no longer than two minutes.

4

FOURTH STEP

As the procedure is finished the netted device is retrieved back into the slender wand and then both are then removed from your uterus.
